To book an evening or weekend appointment patients will need to call their own GP practice during opening hours. Walk-in appointments will not be available. Patients that need to book an urgent GP appointment when their practice is closed should continue to call NHS 111.

You can also call NHS 111 24 hours a day, 7 days a week service if: 

• You need medical help fast, but it’s not a 999 emergency
• You think you may need to go to A&E or another NHS urgent care service
• You don’t know who to call for medical help or you don’t have a GP to call
• You require health information or reassurance about what to do next
